I am currently rereading The Art Spirit by Robert Henri. It is a book I keep with me most of the time and dip in and out of as he describes is its best use. This book is essentially to painters and artists but would most likely speak to anyone who a creative spirit within them. Here is some information about him at Wikipedia.
